How soon can you reach us after a death?
Call 80083 91768 at any hour. We leave Amberpet at once; how long we take depends on where you are and the traffic at that hour. The freezer box comes with us if it is needed.
What do we have to arrange ourselves for antim sanskar?
Nothing. The one call brings the purohit, the freezer box, the antima yatra vehicle and the katta at the ghat. You gather the family; the rest is ours.
Can the paarthiva deham be kept at home before the dahana samskaram?
Yes. When relatives are travelling, the paarthiva deham is kept at home in a freezer box for a day or two. We bring the box and set it up.
Which cremation grounds do you go to?
The one nearest your home, unless the family prefers another. We know the grounds across Hyderabad and Secunderabad and book the katta for you.
Do we need to buy anything for a pooja?
No. Name the karyam and the date, and the full samagri comes with the purohit. You arrange the place and the family, nothing else.
How is the muhurtham fixed?
Give us the dates that suit the family. We read the panchangam, and the jatakams where they matter, and give you the best muhurthams with their times.
Will each step be explained as it is done?
Yes. The mantras stay in Sanskrit, as they must, and the meaning of each step is given in Telugu, English or Hindi, so the family knows what is being done and why.
Do you perform the North Indian vidhi?
Yes. A Hindi-speaking pandit performs Satyanarayan Katha, Griha Pravesh, Rudrabhishek, Sundarkand Path, the Diwali Lakshmi Puja, Mundan and Bhoomi Poojan in the North Indian vidhi. Tell us when you book.
Can a homam be done inside a flat?
Yes. We bring a compact homa kundam and keep the smoke in hand. Apartment homams are routine for us right across Hyderabad.
Do you list prices?
No. Each karyam is quoted on the phone, once we know the date, the place and the custom your family follows, so that the figure you are given is the right one.
